Establishment of the Talent Excellence Centre or more synonymous with TEC (combination human talent development & leadership and succession planning centre) effective September 5, 2024, is part of the university's strategic efforts to strengthen talent development and human resource. With the goal of empowering staff, TEC focuses on competency development, succession plans, training and development programs, career advancement, as well as staff development visibility activities. As a University committed to excellence, we ensure staff are equipped with relevant skills, plan for leadership continuity through succession plans, and provide high-impact learning and growth opportunities. In addition, we also strive to increase the visibility and recognition of our staff as quality human capital at the national and global levels. We believe that talent development is an important investment that ensures the excellence of University Malaya as a world-class educational institution. At TEC, we adhere to the objective that staff excellence is the key to the overall success of the university. With the support of all parties, we are confident in creating a sustainable, inclusive, and dynamic talent development ecosystem for a brighter future.
